Autumn Evening tablescape

Good Evening! That's right, I said...good evening!  I am having an evening autumn table scape on the porch!  If you live here in the south you would totally understand.  See, if you want to experience any type of cooler weather right now, you might try dining on the porch in the evening.  Even that is not a guarantee of cooler temps though.  Unfortunately, my outdoor thermometer this evening is reading 83 degrees.  Can you believe that?  Oh well, let's just imagine it's cool and were having a lovely autumn evening dining on the porch. OK?

  5. My favorite colors together. Red, green and yellow. How nice to eat outside. It is still way too hot here, too.

  6. Hi there! It's considerably cooler here in the Kansas City area, and the air smells fesh & clean after this morning's rain. Hope some of this cooler stuff moves your way soon! Meanwhile, I LOVE the flatware!!!!! I have never seen that at Tuesday Morning! Wish they had it at one of the stores here! Great job!

  7. That is so pretty. Love all the fall stuff.

I'm so jealous that you can put this table together, and so pretty at that, and all I have on my patio is a big mess still. Painters are almost done and I'm beginning to be sane once again. Purchased a few fall/winter flowers today so I'm leaning towards putting my outdoor areas together soon, soon.

  13. Thank you SO much for the encouragement:-) Maybe it's one of those days, and it just got to me! I have to not take silly things personally. And I agree about doing this just because I want to share, not to gain followers. I just want to make sure I don't do anything to offend people. On to your table...you surprised me with the Ivy here! I was not expecting it at all and it looks so great! I had those same Pier One plates and gave them away at a "Free Market" we had. Now I want them back! I lOVE the flatware, and since my parent's last name is Knight, the K is for me! We don't have a Tuesday Morning here, so I would have to go to Atlanta. Thanks for encouraging...I appreciate it SO much:-)

  16. Here in Ohio the temperature is fluctuating so often that my sinuses are screaming in protest.

  17. Hi Mary....your table and setting looks so romantic. Did you and Mr. Sailing actually sit out there? I think that is so nice to have that space. Pretty dishes too, such great Fall color.
So glad you commented on the thinking out loud post. You had a totally different perspective, and that is awesome, this is why I put this stuff out there to get other points of view. For me personally, linkies are a time factor...because of me wanting to comment on so many others that participate in them...but I just can't and have to weed some out. Yes even the big parties I would view at least half which really could be 50...crazy I know. But anyhow, I feel in a good place, and I am so happy with the new system I will put into place. So glad it is working out for you and you seem to be having a good system too. I say whatever works, and whatever you are comfortable with. Like I stated blogging is Quality of readers, not Quantity of readers....and I sure have the best around!
