Monday I told you about a very special outing that I was going on with a friend. On Tuesday, we went to the 2011 Parade of Homes here in Columbia, South Carolina. I was so excited! I took my camera as promised and have well over 500 photos to show of these beautifully decorated homes. More about all that later though!
Today, I've put together a little teaser post for all of you and for Tablescape Thursday. I just couldn't help myself. There were so many beautifully decorated tables. I don't just hope you will enjoy these, I know you will! I am going to hold off on any commentary, so you can just sit back and enjoy the photos.
So, what do you think? Pretty impressive huh?
The previous photos were taken at three of five homes on the tour. I have saved more photos to share with you for next weeks tablescaping party. I didn't want to overwhelm you too much in one day. LOL!
I also want to make sure I give credit to the those who are responsible for these beautiful table
scapes. We certainly have some very talented and exciting designers in our area. The following is a list of those designers responsible for the previous photos.
Bonnie Younginer of Cobb/Younginer Interiors
Gwen Ehlers, Richard Couture & Trina Haslinger of Essex Homes Design Team
Diane Benda and students from Midlands Technical College Interior Decorating Certificate Program
I hope you enjoyed this tour of tablescapes and if you did be sure and follow me over the next few weeks here at The Decorative Dreamer. In addition to doing another table scape post next week, I plan to show you each home in more detail. I will break it up so that each home has it's own post and maybe even see if I can figure out a way to let you vote on them too. If any of you know how to add the voting poles to my blog I would love some tips.
Thank for visiting today, I really appreciate it.
I also really like to hear from you when you do! (hint-hint)
Have a great day!
Mary
So much great inspiration!! I especially loved the dining room with the giant topiaries in the urns. And that outside space made me long for summer! Thanks for sharing them with us! :-)

That was beautiful Mary! I needed that bit of sunshine to pick me up today. We are done for today cleaning up..and exhausted. I am missing Bunco tonight, too tired to go. Thanks for sharing the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWWW!! I wish I knew you were here in Columbia because I want to go to the Parade of Homes but my hubby probably won't want to go so I will go by myself.
ReplyDeleteOh, I want to come!!! I love home tours! Heck, that is only an hour and a half away! I should just do it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun tour! All great settings, I'm sure you enjoyed the day:@)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much to those of you whose comments I lost during the blogger outage. :) I really do appreciate hearing from you and if I knew how to retrieve those comments and put them back I would! :(
ReplyDeleteSorry you lost comments too...I lost over 45 of them. I loved this table inspiration Mary...it gave me some great ideas. Enjoy your Sunday.
ReplyDeleteOh, this was so much fun! I love to go on these type of tours. It is such a great way to gt inspired! I made one of those rock mats last summer thinking of showing it as a "thrifty made by nature" kind of thing. OMG, it took so long to glue each of the rocks and it took a ton more rocks that I thought it would. but, what tipped it right out of the thrifty category is that it took 3 whole tubes of expensive glue to make! But, it did look awesome when done!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table settings!
